My "boss" almost punched me on the face today. He walked into my office with the intent of pushing my buttons. To protect myself I tried to defend myself by explaining the simple concept that I can do only one task at a time. But before I could finish my thought he told me to shut up. Now he has done this before but this was the last time he was going to talked to me like that and I told him so...he jump up on his toes, closed my door and got in my face. He got all bowed up so I got up too. Got into his face and told him to go ahead and punch me... He really look like he wanted to. The only thing that stopped him was that I am two inches taller. What a whimp.
He really expects me to back down and wilt. All days I felt like shit. But now that I'm home I feel e a monkey jump off my back. Good for me...right?
For the life of me I will never understand what makes people think they can act like this. The guy is mental.

Fuck you you fucking fuck
I saw he GWTDT last night. I have to say that if you have not read the book you'll not be able to follow the plot. with that said...my 2 favorite things:

One thing I can not stand...
...is a person in authority and has no business being there. Yes I am griping about a "boss" I've had for a year.
It is so obvious that he has never managed people before.
One thing a manager should be is on your side. I am not saying at all cost but all I ask is to be supportive.
This guy is a narcissus. He is so busy watching out for his own ass that he forgets that this is a workplace and not his own private sand box; "all the toys are mine and if you play my way well i will shame you and verbally abuse you"
Why is that?
I am so busy making sure that his ass is covered that I am missing out on my own growth. Do I sound piss? You damn right. Ok ...I am done.
I have been in the industry for over 30 years and I am being treated as if I just got out of Junior High School.
...is nothing to do but read books regarding "How to deal with a difficult boss" what a joke.
